Message from our Pastor:

Dear Brother or Sister in Christ,

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this letter. My name is Joel Caldwell and I have had the privilege of being Pastor of Atlanta Street Baptist Church for three years. In that time God has done many amazing things here and continues to work in a mighty way. I have found that many people remember Atlanta Street Baptist Church as Roswell Second Baptist Church where a Camp Meeting atmosphere and Southern Gospel and Convention style music filled the church and the hearts of the people in it.

As many churches in our area are moving toward a more contemporary service, we at Atlanta Street Baptist Church feel God has led us to return to the traditional Southern Gospel Music and “Gaither Style” format.

This past April, we welcomed Lamar Newton as our Associate Minister of Music and Pianist. Lamar has a long history working in churches and Group’s in Southern Gospel Music. He along with Jeff Nunnally, our Minister of Music works with our 40+ voice choir to provide quality Southern Gospel Music to enhance our worship experience here at Atlanta Street Baptist.

If you have not worshiped with us in a while or have never visited our church we would welcome the opportunity for you and your family to come and see what God is doing. We would also like to extend an invitation for those of you who sing, to join our exiting music ministry. We believe you will find our people to be friendly and exited about serving the Lord.
